On Monday (August 28), retail giant<\/a> Walmart and next-gen creative studio People of Crypto Lab<\/a> (POClab) unveiled \u2018Cultureverse\u2019 \u2013 an immersive virtual experience that pays homage to the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop and the profound influence of Black culture, according to a press release shared with nft now.<\/p>\n Since 2021, the studio has been at the forefront of merging culture and technology, demonstrated by their groundbreaking #MetaPride initiative that introduced the world\u2019s first Pride festival in the metaverse. Some of its key partners include The Sandbox<\/a>, Animoca Brands<\/a>, Gaingels, ConcreteRose, Tess Ventures, and more.<\/p>\n Scheduled for a September launch, Cultureverse will debut on Spatial, embarking on an interactive virtual journey that serves as both a heartfelt tribute to Hip-Hop\u2019s early visionaries and an exploration of its dynamic evolution, including expanding technology accessibility for Black creators.\u00a0<\/p>\n This initiative represents a natural extension of POClab\u2019s ongoing commitment to spotlighting marginalized communities, as it continues to pursue its mission of driving change through meaningful digital connections while celebrating cultural heritage.<\/p>\n The experience is supported by the annual hip-hop music festival, Rock the Bells, in addition to other partners who weren\u2019t named.
