The Mark is determined randomly using a secure random number generator (RNG) that any user can independently audit. On the other hand, RNG solutions for <a href=\"https:\/\/chain.link\/education\/smart-contracts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">smart contracts<\/a> necessitate several security considerations to avoid deception and ensure system integrity. RNG solutions derived from blockchain data, such as block hashes, can be misused by miners\/validators, whereas off-chain RNG solutions derived from off-chain APIs are opaque and do not provide users with definitive proof of the process\u2019s integrity.<\/p>\n<p>A detailed\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@tollan\/tollan-worlds-chain-link-e50c72830dc5\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">medium post<\/a>\u00a0explains that the Tollan Worlds now has direct exposure to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness thanks to this integration.
