NFT enthusiasts have been known to rally around collections that promote positive social programs, which raise awareness about pressing issues. To that end, BRAVA NFT\u2019s NFT drop aims to mitigate gender-based violence. After minting the collection, BRAVA NFT teamed up with and donated 2.24 ETH to <\/span>Fondo Semillas<\/span><\/a>, a non-profit organization that mobilizes resources and supports women\u2019s organizations that push for gender equality in Mexico.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n According to CryptoDragonis, \u201cBRAVA\u2019s artist Jois Nahual envisioned BRAVAs to be Female Cyberpunk Amazons, who carry some sort of a battle scar (physical or psychological) signifying their fight against gender-based violence, and emerging as not just survivors, but heroes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n CryptoDragonis, who grew up in Singapore and now lives in Dubai, discovered NFTs while looking to decorate her apartment in late 2020. \u201cMy first NFTs were from <\/span>Hic Et Nunc<\/span><\/a>. I chanced upon the works of Mario Klingemann, otherwise known as <\/span>Quasimondo<\/span><\/a>. And, I thought \u2019hang on a second, I know this guy!\u2019 I met Quasimondo back in 2005 in Singapore at a <\/span>Macromedia Max conference<\/span><\/a>. Hic Et Nunc marketplace was my gateway to NFTs. I realized NFTs were more than art, they were about the people, the community, and about connecting stories.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
