To explore how Americans are turning to BTC as a safe haven, NFTEvening partnered with Storible to survey 1,290 Americans via Prolific between April 27 and April 28.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our survey revealed that <\/span>68.21% of Americans have bought Bitcoin since Trump announced the tariffs\u2014a remarkable figure that surpasses gold buyers by 23.77%. <\/b>This trend underscores a pivotal moment for Bitcoin, positioning it as a modern hedge against economic turmoil.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, <\/span>71.60% of respondents allocated more funds to Bitcoin than to gold following Trump\u2019s tariff announcements.<\/b> This data emphasizes Bitcoin\u2019s rising prominence and trust as a protective financial asset compared to traditional safe havens.<\/span><\/p>\n

Notably, Trump\u2019s tariffs have also motivated new entrants to the crypto market. <\/span>Approximately 26.23% of Americans reported buying Bitcoin for the first time specifically due to these tariffs<\/b>, marking a significant inflow of new crypto investors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Confidence in Bitcoin\u2019s stability is also robust, with <\/span>75.62% of Americans viewing Bitcoin as a genuine safe haven.<\/b> This trust highlights Bitcoin\u2019s growing credibility and perceived reliability, especially in economically turbulent times.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking forward, Americans remain optimistic about Bitcoin\u2019s potential. An overwhelming<\/span> 81.48% indicate they plan to increase Bitcoin investments if the US Bitcoin Reserve Bill passes<\/b>, reflecting strong anticipation and enthusiasm towards favorable crypto legislation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interestingly, Americans also link Bitcoin\u2019s future bullishness directly with Trump\u2019s influence. 75.00% believe that Trump\u2019s policies and actions will propel Bitcoin to new highs<\/strong>, underscoring his administration\u2019s perceived role in crypto market dynamics.<\/span><\/p>\n
