Credit: The Verge.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span id=\"Possible_Widespread_NFT_Twitter_Scam\">Possible Widespread NFT Twitter Scam?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As the trust in these profiles begins to wane, the thread warns of a potentially catastrophic outcome. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CryptoDanney\/status\/1621094362263465985\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">danney.eth writes<\/a>, \u201cOnce trust starts reducing, they will probably do a mass wallet drain with different mint pages from all the accounts at the same time.\u201d The fear is that this sudden and coordinated wallet drain could lead to confusion and chaos. That would make it even more difficult to help the community. The <a href=\"https:\/\/nftevening.com\/20-nft-twitter-accounts-you-dont-want-to-miss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Web3 Twitter accounts<\/a> mentioned include @DanielleKKTV, @radoko, @COOP3RDRUMM3R, @Y3Q.eth, @Fitz_lol, @TheIsland, @Teefinha97, and @Namezer01.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo that\u2019s why I wanted to make this thread,\u201d says the author. \u201cThese guys have been doing all these things without ANY of us noticing. It\u2019s a dangerous situation. Credit: danney.eth.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span id=\"Not_100_Certain_But_Be_Cautious_Anyway\">Not 100% Certain, But Be Cautious Anyway.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>danney.eth acknowledges that the initial information may not be 100% accurate, but <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CryptoDanney\/status\/1621094348497776640?s=20&amp;t=Cigz3JZYdJThKdh_AXL4Bg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cautions the Web3 community<\/a> to avoid these profiles regardless. \u201cI still recommend to avoid them all,\u201d says the author. \u201cThis MIGHT mean that some may not be out to <a href=\"https:\/\/nftevening.com\/nft-terminology-30-terms-you-should-know-in-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rug you<\/a>, but just to promote whatever they get money to promote for, which could just as well be rugs or worse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the community should be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior they may come across. \u201cSo once again, I can\u2019t say for certain that all of them are owned by the same people.
