The leading Metaverse joined forces with Ubisoft to drop a new exclusive collection: Rabbids.<\/p>\n<p>These limited-edition collectibles dropped on February 21st at 2 pm UTC, and users could mint two NFTs per wallet. Then, the public sale was held one day later, on February 22nd, with a maximum mint of four collectibles per wallet. Surprisingly, the Sandbox announced via Twitter that this drop sold out in a record-breaking 45 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The price per NFT was 100 SAND (The Sandbox\u2019s official crypto coin), or $75 at the time of writing. Considering the hype around the project, many collectors thought it was a fair price to begin with. Each 3D digital avatar is generated with unique traits; in fact, the collection also includes several 1:1 hand-illustrated Lunar Festival Rabbids.<\/p>\n<p>Holders will be able to use their new avatars in The Sandbox to explore and play.
