Music streaming platform, Spotify<\/a>, is experimenting with token-gated playlists that allow NFT holders to connect their wallets and enjoy curated music from their communities. For now, the service is only available to a few select NFT projects, including, Fluf, Moonbirds, Kingship, and Overlord and is accessible to NFT holders in the US, UK, Australia, Germany, and New Zealand.<\/p>\n That said, the curated playlists will be continuously updated during the three-month testing period, and NFT holders from qualifying communities will be able to access them using a unique link.<\/p>\n Overlord, a Web3 gaming and media universe, was one of the first to break the exciting news to its community. The project revealed that it has created a token-gated playlist for holders of its NFTs. The playlist features popular acts such as Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott, Queen, and Led Zeppelin.<\/p>\n Speaking on the new experiment, a spokesperson for Spotify notes that the platform \u201croutinely conducts a number of tests in an effort to improve our user experience.\u201d\u00a0 <\/em>Before adding, \u201cSome of those end up paving the path for our broader user experience, and others serve only as important learnings.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n For now, though, it is not clear if the platform will broadly roll out the feature or not.
