The integrations can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/assetstore.unity.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Unity Asset Store<\/a>, the gaming giant\u2019s online store, where developers can purchase and download them to integrate in their games.<\/p>\n<p>Web3 developers will be able to download the SDKs and APIs from leading blockchain solutions providers that are listed on the Unity Asset Store. These include the likes of MetaMask, Algorand,<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Immutable\/status\/1630599857827368960\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/nftnewstoday.com\/2023\/02\/02\/immutables-new-solution-for-web3-gaming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">ImmutableX<\/a>, and many others.<\/p>\n<p>Experts within Web3 believe this move will spark an influx of <a href=\"https:\/\/nftnewstoday.com\/2023\/02\/16\/square-enix-joins-polygon-for-new-nft-game\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">game developers into the space<\/a>. Simon Kertonegoro, CEO of MyMetaverse, is one of those who shares this sentiment. Speaking to the press, he notes that <em>\u201ceveryone in gaming respects Unity, they\u2019re the people\u2019s champ.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Altura, one of the service providers listed, also sees this decision as making decentralized gaming more accessible to its massive audience. This goes for both players and developers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Immutable X in the Unity Asset Store<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Unity Web3 Tools Will Bring Back Blockchain Game Developers<\/h2>\n<p>The gaming world has bought into the hype of Web3 as decentralization allows players to own in-game assets\u2014this way they can create, earn and obtain resources that can be traded and sold elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Web3 developers are leveraging smart contracts, <a href=\"https:\/\/nftnewstoday.com\/2023\/02\/06\/a-comparison-of-web3-social-wallets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">virtual wallets<\/a>, NFTs, and cryptocurrencies to facilitate decentralization in video games.<\/p>\n<p>The tools add to Unity\u2019s existing features that are designed to make blockchain game development efficient. The Unity game engine already exists, which developers can use to create 3D environments for various platforms. These include desktop, mobile, and console devices.<\/p>\n<p>Kertonegoro believes the latest move is historic given Unity\u2019s standing within the gaming world.
