Its\u00a02022 report<\/a>, based on data gathered from 230,000 Unity developers \u2013 showed that the number of new creators was up 31%, and the number of games created on its platform was up 93% in 2022 compared to 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n With this move, Unity will help game developers transition to Web3 by providing supportive SDKs. Only trustworthy third-party solutions are included. To that end, the game engine teams up with leading blockchain companies and verify their solutions are compatible with the latest version of Unity.<\/p>\n Currently, the marketplace includes 13 decentralized technology\u00a0Verified Solutions<\/a>, including MetaMask, Algorand, Altura, Aptos, Flow, Immutable, Infura, Nefta, Ore ID, Quartes, Solana, Tezos, and Truffle.\u00a0<\/p>\n This is an important milestone toward Web3 mass adoption as a whole. As shown by DappRadar\u2019s 2022\u00a0blockchain gaming report<\/a>, gaming dapps represent a segment that accounts for 50% of the dapp industry. Insights gained by decentralizing games will reveal lessons for all participants, even with different Web3 backgrounds.<\/p>\n Decentralized games have many upsides.
