Pioneering digital artist Beeple announced a second Beeple Studios event yesterday. Beeple Studios will partner with Gibbes Museum to host the event on April 29 as part of the Art Charleston festival. What should art fans expect from the exhibit?<\/p>\n The event will showcase artwork from a curated list of new and returning artists. Beeple himself will hold a performance to create a new piece for his \u201cEverydays<\/a>\u201d collection. Proceeds from ticket sales will help the Gibbes Museum to continue offering events and programming for the local Charlestown community.<\/p>\n The festivities will take place in Beeple\u2019s art studio<\/a>, a 50,000 SF space that also features a 13,000 SF gallery and 13,000 SF of experiential space. Beeple opened the studio to \u201cshowcase the very best art and communities\u201d and host \u201cevents that help to educate and entertain around web3 and digital art.\u201d<\/p>\n The first Beeple Studios event<\/a> was a smash hit with attendees. Beeple partnered with Christie\u2019s to curate an experience featuring creations from XCOPY, Dee Kay Motion, Coldie, FVCKRENDER, and other historically significant NFT artists. Beeple also created 51 new works of art himself in just over one hour.<\/p>\n The show leaned heavily into fun instead of formality. Celebrity look-alikes for Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and other common subjects of Beeple\u2019s work mingled and took pictures with guests. Huge TV screens covered walls and helped create a dream-like setting for the event.<\/p>\n If the second event is anything like the first, then guests are in for a treat.
