Do you have a distinct early memory of your first encounter with\u00a0 \u201ccapital A art\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n Mwan: <\/strong>Yes, it\u2019s very clear to me. I was raised in Eastern Poland, so the first thing I saw inside a frame was a religious icon in a church. It was super effective because before that, I basically hadn\u2019t seen anything, even a TV.
