The cyborg opera will be an immersive theater experience in the vein of<\/span> \u201c<\/span>Sleep No More,<\/span><\/a>\u201d where it breaks down the barrier between<\/span> audience and performer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re not watching it \u2013you\u2019re taking part in it. You\u2019re actively participating,\u201d Hallidonto explained. \u201cEveryone wants experiential. They want an experience.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The story isn\u2019t linear; it treads through the phenomenological experiences of what it means to be human within a Post\/Transhuman perspective. When participants enter the opera\u2019s world there are two sets of paths. And each group has a different, evolving experience. The opera\u2019s various themes are built from Hallidonto\u2019s very personal universe.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe forms and performances I do, some of it is quite dark,\u201d he said. \u201cFrom the hatred of the human body to the beauty of eating. Or the madness of tinnitus; all embodied in my eclectic dialogue.\u201d Adding, \u201cThere\u2019s a fine line between cheese and dark; so, I manage not to fall into the category of the cheese.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
