Today, May 19, Superchief Gallery NFT and Zeroone both announced partnerships with Avalanche and parent company Ava Labs respectively. <\/li>\n<li>Further, Avalanche shared that it has entered a partnership with Legitimate to bring phygital experiences to its events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dive deeper<\/h2>\n<p>Things have been getting interesting on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avax.network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Avalanche<\/a> (AVAX) as of late. While NFT trading efforts have <a href=\"https:\/\/nftnow.com\/guides\/complete-simple-guide-to-top-nft-blockchains\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">largely been corralled<\/a> to Ethereum, Solana, Tezos, and Bitcoin over the past year, the burgeoning Proof-of-Stake blockchain network has made strides in the NFT space with significant developments.<\/p>\n<p>Web3 first got a glimpse into what was transpiring on AVAX with the announcement of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artonavalanche.com\/avaissance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Avaissance<\/a>, a new initiative created to incubate the next generation of digital artists. At the beginning of May, the full scope of the Avaissance Artist in Residence (AIR) program grants <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ArtOnAvax\/status\/1653640751648239616?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was announced<\/a>, revealing a roster of 75 prominent rising artists, including <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CallMeLatasha\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Latash\u00e1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DownsandTowns\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Downs and Towns<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EmilyLazar_SM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Emily Lazar<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Avaissance begins!<\/p>\n<p>The Avalanche Foundation is launching the Avaissance initiative to grow the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/AVAX?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#AVAX<\/a> NFT ecosystem and support its budding artists. The program aims to usher in a rebirth of creative activity on Avalanche.<\/p>\n<p>So, what\u2019s the plan?\u2b07\ufe0f\ud83e\uddf5 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mNhDoQqDhD\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/mNhDoQqDhD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Art on Avalanche (@ArtOnAvax) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ArtOnAvax\/status\/1641108234667958272?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">March 29, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Leading mentorship for the AIR participants will be prominent Web3 figures <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dave_krugman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dave Krugman<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Em0n33y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Emonee LaRussa<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/johnlestudio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John L\u00ea<\/a>, Georgio \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/thatguygeo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GEO<\/a>\u201d Constantinou, and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TripleVodkaSoda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ryan Wen<\/a>. The full slate of 75 artists has been broken up into \u201ccamps\u201d directed by each mentor. But that isn\u2019t the only thing AVAX users should be excited about.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coming soon to Avalanche<\/h2>\n<p>Piggybacking off of the hype surrounding Avaissance, a variety of new Avalanche partnerships have been revealed in parallel. Notably, the established art powerhouse <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superchiefgallerynft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Superchief Gallery<\/a> is gearing up to launch its own unique NFT marketplace on the Avalanche platform. <\/p>\n<p>The Superchief NFT marketplace will aim to cater to artists\u2019 needs, providing a platform built \u201cby and for creators,\u201d and will serve to connect the extensive web2 and Web3 art communities that Superchief has cultivated over the past decade. About the partnership, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/deadzipco\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Edward Zipco<\/a>, Superchief Gallery\u2019s co-founder and director, noted that he thinks it could be a significant win for artists looking to build on Avalanche.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe at Superchief Gallery NFT are incredibly excited to launch our Superchief NFT Marketplace and build a home for creative culture within the Avalanche ecosystem,\u201d said Zipco. \u201cWe feel that there is a significant opportunity to bring the best artists to the table and help them take root and develop on Avalanche.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a similar vein, the non-transactional limited edition NFT sharing platform <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/zero________one\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zeroone<\/a> has entered into a relationship with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avalabs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ava Labs<\/a> \u2014 a company that seeks to make it simple to deploy high-performance solutions for Web3 on Avalanche \u2014 to develop software that enhances culture within the blockchain and extends its reach. <\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the partnership, Zeroone Co-founder <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/shivani_3000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shivani Mitra<\/a> emphasized the importance of ownership in the face of advancements <a href=\"https:\/\/nftnow.com\/art\/top-ai-art-tools-you-need-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">like AI<\/a>. \u201cAt a time when artists are becoming increasingly concerned with the need to protect their IP amidst AI and other technological advances, ownership is becoming more central to creativity and the growing attention economy,\u201d she stated via press release.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s next?<\/h2>\n<p>Rounding out its new catalog of collaborative endeavors, Avalanche has also formed a partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitimate.tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Legitimate<\/a>, a company specializing in merging physical and digital experiences through its \u201cphygital\u201d infrastructure. The collaboration aims to synchronize ownership between physical products and their corresponding digital identities on-chain through Legitimate\u2019s \u201cLocked NFT Protocol.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As part of this partnership, Avalanche and Legitimate will release exclusive phygital merch at all official Avalanche events.
