Welcome everyone to our brand spanking new column \u2013 Through the Lens! We\u2019re super excited to bring this new biweekly series to you, where we\u2019ll be featuring the most talented NFT photographers. There are so many amazing photographers joining the NFT space, and it\u2019s about time they got some recognition as well!<\/p>\n

Meet Matthew Charles<\/a>, popularly known as \u201cCreative Nigerian,\u201d a portrait and lifestyle photographer as well as an NFT artist and collector. His award-winning photographs are stunning, and each one tells and weaves a story of the imagination, world, and people.<\/p>\n

How did you get into NFTs and how has it impacted you?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I heard about NFTs from a friend around October last year 2021 to be specific and at first it sounded like a scam to me but after I saw a post of our group by a friend named teaserat who\u2019s also a big part of the African NFT artist community, I decided to do my own research and dive into NFTs on my own.<\/p>\n

So far NFTs have had a huge impact on my life both good and bad but more good. I minted my first NFT art around February 2022.<\/p>\n
