Gods Unchained makes a push to draw in more players with a newly announced partnership with Epic Games. This allows Gods Unchained to be distributed on the Epic Games Launcher and potentially exposed to hundreds of millions of new users!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gods Unchained has partnered with Epic Games as a distribution platform. A game distribution and management platform, similar to Steam, Epic boasts over 190 million users! This move not only lowers the barrier to entry a step further (1 click install rather than download, run file, choose installation path), but it also puts Gods Unchained in front of a new, very large playerbase.<\/p>\n

Now unfortunately, right below the fold on the Gods Unchained game page in the Epic store is a warning that this is a blockchain \/ crypto game. This is unfortunate because it will immediately turn a lot of players away and it puts the focus on \u201cthis is a blockchain game\u201d. Even though players don\u2019t need to own any tokens or NFTs to play!<\/p>\n

But nonetheless, this is potentially a lucrative deal for both Gods and Unchained and Epic Games. We\u2019ll see if the player numbers connected to Gods Unchained increase as a result of this new distribution platform.
