Centuries old purveyor of fine port, Graham\u2019s<\/a>, has announced its first ever venture into the NFT realm<\/a>. In celebration of 50 years stewardship by the Symington family, it has launched 50 extra special Port cases, authenticated as non-fungible tokens.<\/p>\n Starting from July 24, collectors can get their hands on a limited-edition case containing two bottles of anniversary grade Port. The first bottle harks back to 1970, and is one of the first batch of wine created under the Symington family stewardship, while the second bottle comes from the 2020 anniversary edition, created 50 years later.<\/p>\n Out of the 50 cases available, Graham\u2019s has made 44 available exclusively at its facility at Graham\u2019s lodge in Portugal. Each of which, will unlock extra benefits for its owner, such as a whitelist place for the next drop, and 6 free guided tours and tastings at Graham\u2019s lodge. Of those 44 cases, 3 will also include a private visit for 4 to Quinta dos Malvedos, Graham\u2019s principal estate in the Douro Valley for a guided tour coupled with tutored wine tasting.<\/p>\n Today we launch our first ever NFT (non-fungible token) with 50 limited edition cases of 1970 & 2020 Vintage Port. Through the exciting partnership, the company has embedded each bottle in the collection with its own near-field communication (NFC) chip.
